The World of Blogs

You may wonder why I would start a blog. I am still wondering myself. I am not in the usual demographic of a blogger. I am still not even computer literate. However, I love blogs. It is how I keep up with friends and family that have moved away. Blogs help me keep up with the lives of people that I miss and help me miss them a little bit less. I look at blogs almost every day to see my grandchildren. Even if I am seeing the same pictures as the day before I love it. I was hoping to be a grandma with grandchildren close (I would love next door) and able to see them almost every day. Blogs aren't even close to as good as that, but it sure is better than having them as far away as they are and not seeing them at all.

My blog probably won't be very traditional. We don't have cute little kids growing and changing every day at our house anymore. I am hoping to use my blog as a journal and it will probably have as many memories as current events. Maybe Dave will even get a few chances to add to it. I know he will put a link to his photographs as soon as I let him on here. And I might even learn some more computer skills. This is a work in progress, so plan on it getting better as time goes by.
