Homes, Con't.

This is where we lived for the last 18 months Dave was in school. We actually went back later and took this picture--if we were living there it would have had a little blue Toyota where the cream colored car is. Our apartment was right in front of the cream car on the bottom. We loved living in this apartment. It was warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer than the triads. We could park close!!! We went to a regular ward while living here and we loved it. We had the best bishop in the whole world. Dave was in grad school and made the princely sum of $500 a month so we could afford to "move up" to this apartment. The area was flat so I took the kids for a ride in our little red wagon almost every day. There was a little store on the other end of our block which was a great place to buy milk--and so convenient since I didn't have the car very often.

Rosie was born while we lived here. This is also the place of the great Desitin incident. (Too bad I don't have a picture of that.) This is also the place we were living when Megan decided to go for a walk without me. I couldn't find her and finally called Dave at school. (The secretary of the department tracked him down.) He came racing home and we met about the same place--the open canal that Megan was just about next to. I am thinking maybe I didn't watch the kids as well as I should have while living here. When Dave was about ready to graduate he came home one day and said he had been thinking about getting a PhD. I told him to think about getting another wife.
