I have to say I am so very disappointed. I vowed on the day that McCain was chosen as the Republican candidate not to vote for him, but as I learnd more about Obama I changed my mind. I am so tired of having to vote for a Republican candidate that I don't really want, but do so anyway because I think it is better than the other choice.
As for Obama as president: I feel the same way I did when I found out that Bill Clinton was elected--we are going to get what we deserve. It makes me sad to think of how our country has changed just in my lifetime. I am worried about supreme court judges. I am worried that we will be heading even more quickly away from what our founding fathers worked and fought so hard for us to have. Just as our country changed drastically while Clinton was president, I fear that will be the case with Obama--even more so. I worry that I have been too complacent for too long.
