More Lexie

I had a great time with Lexie while Molly and James went on their cruise. I left South Dakota piled with snow and got to Columbus where it was sunny and warm. Then everything switched. Dave told me every day how nice it was in SD and how fast the snow was melting. Ohio was gray and rainy for a whole week--and one day we woke up to this. I didn't think to take a picture until the sun had been out a couple of hours. All that melted by the afternoon, except a little in front that didn't get any sun.

Lexie got four eye teeth while I was staying with her. You can see the top ones in this picture--they are barely breaking through.

I had a hard time getting pictures. Either Lexie came too close to the camera and made funny faces or she stopped doing whatever I wanted a picture of when I got out my camera. She is one cute little girl--too bad I don't have the camera skills to show it better.

Lexie loves dolls and stuffed animals. She hugs them and rocks them and feeds them. What a cute little mommy!

I had a great time in Ohio. Lexie was very glad to see her mom and dad again, but we had a lot of fun while they were gone. Also, I got to see an old friend from high school--Paige Willie--she left the next day for China. She and her husband are going to live there for the next few years. Except for a few wrinkles around our eyes, it was hard to believe we have been out of high school over 30 years. It was a great visit with Paige, with Molly, James and Lexie, and when I got back to South Dakota it was spring! Warm and sunny and very nice to be home again.
