So I am officially an old lady. I never minded turning 30 or 40, but I always thought that when I turned 50, it would seem old. I do realize that I have lived over half of my life, but surprisingly, 50 no longer seems that old. Maybe it is just that my mind is gone, and I no longer have the capacity to realize how old it really is. I remember reading in Sister Hinckley's book that the 50's were her favorite decade. It is nice to be past diapers and teenagers and still be able to get around and feel good. I guess I better enjoy what is left before I become a senior citizen.
This picture was taken with a disposable camera at a dinner we went to for Dave's work. He has worked at Raven for 10 years--they sure went quickly. Less picture quality can be a good thing for old ladies!
We have never lived in a house for 10 years before. I need to do some serious cleaning--and some serious cleaning-out.
