Let's start with the stuff. I keep thinking I can't bring one more thing into my house...but we went to visit Molly, James and Lexie last week and found the cutest things at an Amish furniture shop. I only wish I would have got more.

This little rocking chair is made of oak and will last for generations.

Of course, after you rock the baby to sleep, you have to have somewhere to lay her down.

Ava tried it out this afternoon.

Now for the visitors. Dad and Gayla came to see us--us meaning Sam's family too. We had a fun afternoon together. Gayla played Disney Princess memory and balloon volleyball with Ava. Here she is with Bianca.

Dad holding Gretel. Check out the cute socks.

Here is a close-up of Gretel chewing on her fingers. It is easy to see why I usually use pictures taken by Dave.

When I got the pictures from my camera I found a few of Sandy eating corn on the cob. She loved the corn and we loved watching her.

The pictures turned out good. All my pics always have red eye. We had lots of fun visiting! Thanks for dinner too. It was delish.
Fun pictures! I love the rocking chair and crib. And Gretel's maryjane socks are adorable!
Looks like fun. You did a good job of matching the stain on the cradle to the rocking chair. I love the maryjane socks too...those are still one of my favorite things of Lexie's!
