I love graduations. "Pomp and Circumstance" will always be one of my favorite pieces of music and it always brings tears to my eyes. Maybe it is because I have wanted to walk to it for so long. However, this graduation was for Rosie and Brandon (and 1456 other people too). There are some extra nice things about BYU graduations. For one thing, the speakers are always great. It is almost like going to conference. I love to feel the spirit that is there. Learning is great. Learning with the gospel involved is even better. There were 70 married couples that graduated from BYU-I on Friday and Rosie and Brandon were one of them. They got to march in and sit together. They were both so tired of school, it is nice to know they can forget about homework and tests and focus on jobs and moving. That is the sad part of this. Now that they are finished with school, they will be moving to Canada. I loved having them in Rexburg. It was so nice to go to one place and see two of our children (really three counting Brandon). It was so nice when we could coordinate visits and moves. Sam and Jessica were there for a while too. It is nice when siblings are nearby to keep track of each other and help each other. I know I felt a lot more comfortable knowing Brandon was around to help Kelsie with car and snow trouble.I am so proud of Rosie and Brandon. An education is such a blessing, but it also requires a lot of work and sacrifice. They are both prepared to make the world a better place. I just wish their place wasn't so far away from me. Good luck to you both.

The picture turned out really good. Did Dad get some with them and the roses? By the way only 456 people graduated not 1456 because that is more people than there is in the whole student body population. Can't wait to see you in July!
Wow its been a long week because there are certainly more than 1,456 people, for some reason I was adding another ten thousand on there.
