"Scootering"

It was Ava's birthday last week. She is now four. She got a new scooter and all the kids wanted to be outside "scootering."
Getting ready to go!

Where is all that great protection?

Ava got a helmet and pads, but her helmet was too small and she couldn't wait to ride until it got exchanged.

Bianca has been coming to see us with scraped knees and elbows. Hopefully, that is a thing of the past.

Cute braids.

Ava's braids didn't last for the pictures. Do you like her cake? She decorated it herself.
Everyone came to our house on Thursday for pizza and cake. Dave called Ava on Wednesday (the official birthday) to tell her happy birthday. He asked her if she was four and she said no, she hadn't had her cake yet.
Dave got me a little point and shoot camera for Mother's day so I could take my own pictures. I get tired of waiting for him to download and photoshop his pictures. Today I finally loaded the software and figured out how to get the pictures from my camera to the computer. Don't laugh--it is a major accomplishment for me. So the pictures might not be as good, but there should be more of them on my blog. A couple of these pictures are actually from Dave--I got on his computer and "borrowed" them:)
